About the maker

I sculpt animals with character, presence and emotion.

Based in Rathdrum, County Wicklow, I create contemporary animal sculpture, with a particular interest in capturing expression, movement and character.

My work ranges from original pieces available to purchase and personal commissions, each sculpted and painted individually by hand. Rather than simply reproducing an animal's appearance, I aim to capture something of its presence and personality.

My work is inspired by a deep love of animals, and a desire to capture their essence and personality. I do hope you like them 💕.

JOS Sculptures is available for film, television, set decoration and interior styling enquiries. Existing sculptures may be available for purchase or hire, and commissioned pieces can be created to suit a production or interior brief.

How it works

Choose a sculpture / send us some pictures of your beloved animal

Choose your sculpture
Browse the available collection and choose an original sculpture that speaks to you, or get in touch to discuss a personal commission.

Personal commissions
For a commission, simply send a selection of photographs of your animal. Your sculpture is individually created and hand-painted in my Wicklow studio, usually over approximately six weeks.

Collection or delivery
Finished sculptures can be collected from my Wicklow studio or delivery can be arranged.
